Developing the administrative performance of secondary education leaders in the State of Kuwait in light of the organizational excellence approach: an analytical study

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the theoretical frameworks related to administrative performance, and to identify the theoretical foundations of the organizational excellence approach and the mechanisms for applying organizational excellence and how to transform this into a tangible practical reality, by clarifying the role of organizational excellence for educational leaders, where the importance of the role of educational leaders in schools comes as they are responsible for confronting school problems and developing all elements of the educational process through their distinguished performance, and since school administration is a practice administration or executive procedural administration as it is responsible for implementing the responsibilities, tasks and plans that achieve the school's goals, developing this administration in light of organizational excellence requires developing the leadership practices carried out by the school principal with the help of a group of workers in the school community, and the success of school administration is linked to the extent of its ability to achieve effective communication and contact with all school workers, and taking into account the needs and demands of these workers within a framework of human relations. In order to achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach because it is appropriate for the research topic. The results of the study also concluded that the most important mechanisms for activating the organizational excellence approach in secondary schools in the State of Kuwait are: organizational structure excellence, strategy excellence, service delivery excellence, leadership excellence, and organizational culture excellence.
