A proposed vision for managing educational projects in youth associations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the MEAL system

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the reality of educational project management in youth associations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the MEAL system, and to clarify the monitoring and evaluation tools applied in educational projects in youth associations, and to identify the cognitive and administrative difficulties that prevent the application of the MEAL system in educational projects in youth associations, and to present a proposed vision. The research relied on the descriptive survey approach, and the research community consisted of (97) executive directors, and (60) directors, and the size of the research sample was (83) executive directors, and project managers. The research concluded that the research sample agreed on "The reality of managing educational projects in youth associations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the MEAL system", with an arithmetic mean (4.00) and a "high" grade, and the response to "Tools for monitoring and evaluation applied in educational projects in youth associations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" with a "high" grade with an arithmetic mean (3.97), and the results of cognitive difficulties that prevent the application of the MEAL system were represented by an arithmetic mean (35.6), and a "high" grade. As for the results of administrative difficulties, they came with an arithmetic mean (2.56) and a "medium" grade. In light of these results, the research presented a proposed vision. The research recommended the necessity of adding a special policy and creating a diploma specializing in monitoring and evaluation, and linking grants
