Psychological Attitudes of Special Education Teachers Towards Employing Artificial Intelligence Applications

Abstract

Artificial intelligence refers to the ability of a digital machine to perform tasks commonly associated with humans and includes mechanical and electronic devices and applications designed to mimic the human ability to learn. And decision making, using voice recognition, expert systems, natural language processing, foreign language, etc... To keep pace with this rapid development, it is necessary to know the Psychological Attitudes of special education teachers, because of their great importance towards employing Artificial intelligence applications in the educational field. The research aimed to reveal the extent of the difference in the psychological attitudes of special education teachers towards employing artificial intelligence applications, using a scale: psychological attitudes of special education teachers, prepared by the researcher, The participants in the research (N = 294) represented male and female teachers in the Minya, Assiut, and Sohag Educational Administration for Special Education. Their ages ranged from less than 30 years to 50 years or more. Comparative descriptive was used, and the results concluded that there were no differences in the research variables (academic qualification, Gender, level of experience in using technology, age).
