Abstract

The current study aimed to present a set of proposed procedures to develop educational services at Assiut University in light of activating digital transformation at the university. The researcher used educational literature and previous studies to identify the role of digital transformation in developing educational services at the university. The researcher also designed a questionnaire directed to faculty members at Assiut University, to learn their opinions about the reality of digital transformation at Assiut University and its relationship to the educational services provided at the university. The questionnaire was applied to a group of faculty members at Assiut University after calculating its validity and reliability. The study concluded that the university should work on further improvements regarding the digital educational services it provides to its students. In light of analyzing the questionnaire results, a set of proposed procedures were presented to develop educational services at Assiut University in light of activating digital transformation at the university Which is presented in developing digital skills for students, enhancing self-learning skills, the necessity of integrating technology into the curriculum, as well as the necessity of providing a supportive digital environment, the necessity of training faculty members to use digital technology and integrating it into the educational process, as well as changing the traditional role of university libraries.
