The aim of the current study was to investigate the impact of a training program based on acceptance and commitment in developing communication skills in children with speech disorders, and the continuity of this impact during the follow-up period. The study included (30) participants, children of pre-school age ranging from (4-6) years, consisting of (19) males and (11) females, with a mean age of (5.5) years and a standard deviation of (1.25). The study used a quasi-experimental design with a single group. The study tools included a speech disorder scale (prepared by the researcher), a communication skills scale (prepared by the researcher), and a training program based on acceptance and commitment in developing communication skills in children with speech disorders. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of using the training program based on acceptance and commitment in developing communication skills in children with speech disorders, and the continuity of this effectiveness during the follow-up period in improving communication skills and building speech disorders in children. This was interpreted within the theoretical frameworks in the research literature, leading to a number of .recommendations
