The extent to which Arabic language teachers employ thinking skills and creative supportive activities in their teaching from their point of view

Abstract

Teachers' awareness of the effectiveness of developing thinking skills at their students by increasing their creative abilities, employing creative activities, increasing interaction in the classroom environment, and building preparation and motivation.



   The study aimed to know the extent to which Arabic language teachers employ thinking skills and creative supportive activities in their teaching from their point of view.



     The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study sample consisted of (140) teachers who study grades from the fourth to eleventh in government schools affiliated with the Directorate of Education for the Rusaifa Brigade. On four areas.



     The results of the study revealed that the mathematical averages of the four fields were (4.06), and the mathematical averages of the sub-fields ranged between (3.83-48), and the field of building creative questions that develop thinking skills at the highest average (4.18) and in the last rank in the field of creative activities at the lowest average (3.89). The results of the study indicated that there are no statistically significant differences in the scale in the field of building creative questions that develop thinking skills, while found statistically significant differences in the field of creative activities attributed to the gender variable in favor of females, and attributed to the expertise for the benefit of (less than 5 years).
