Abstract

The study aimed to determine the role of training and scholarship departments and divisions within education directorates in achieving social responsibility in light of the Human Capacity Development Program from the perspective of training supervisors, to reveal the requirements for achieving this role, and to identify the obstacles to achieving it. The study used the descriptive survey method. A 21-statement questionnaire was used to collect data from a simple random sample of 234 supervisors working in training and scholarships departments and divisions within education directorates. The study concluded that the reality of the role of training and scholarship departments and divisions within education directorates in achieving social responsibility in light of the Human Capacity Development Program received an agreement level of "Rarely" with a mean of 1.95 and a standard deviation of 1.08. The arithmetic mean for the statements of requirements for training and scholarship departments and divisions within education directorates to achieve social responsibility was 3.67, with a standard deviation of 1.43, indicating an agreement level of "Agree". The arithmetic mean for obstacles to achieving social responsibility for training and scholarship departments and divisions within education directorates was 4.02, with a standard deviation of 1.36, indicating an agreement level of "Agree".

The study provided some recommendations based on these findings.
