Entrepreneurial leadership in university education

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the conceptual framework of entrepreneurial leadership in university education institutions, identify the dimensions of entrepreneurial leadership in university education institutions, and develop a set of proposed recommendations for implementing entrepreneurial leadership in Egyptian universities to enhance their competitiveness. And to reach the requirements for developing the performance of educational leaders in light of entrepreneurial leadership. Therefore, it has addressed entrepreneurial leadership in university education in terms of concept, characteristics, importance and dimensions.

The study concluded the importance of entrepreneurial leadership in university education institutions in generating the spirit of contemporary management and that the process of development under entrepreneurial leadership is extremely important and can be achieved if a set of requirements are met, including activating training and administrative education centers in the field of training on entrepreneurial leadership skills and their applications, spreading entrepreneurial culture, and developing a comprehensive strategy based on good practices in entrepreneurial leadership in distinguished organizations and supporting the independence of administrative leaders by supporting decentralization, supporting new and pioneering ideas in the field of developing university educational institutions, and setting pioneering standards in discovering leaders.
